jumpsuit + style to inspire link-up co-host!

A little late to the summer jumpsuit craze but I honestly, believe it or not, got this jumpsuit in late Winter, while it was on sale for being last season’s. I got it online, NOT in my size (not even close) but I figured what the heck, I have never owned a jumpsuit in my life and I had a bad feeling about it as with every jumpsuit that I have tried on. These things, I realized, could look disastrous on a nearly 5’11 long torso-ed and long legged person/woman/giantess if it weren’t tailored for that specific body type. But this being black, an itty-bitty part of my brain was thinking maybe I can make this work. Just like my dress before this post, I surprisingly liked it. Not crazy in love with it but enough to convince myself to venture out and possibly try on different styles. If you are a skeptic on these, give it a try as I did on this one. I mindlessly threw this jacket on just to see how it looks and voila, works like a charm! Or at least in my not-so-expert opinion. Hahaha!
Thank you so much for reading and see you on my next post!

Fellow fashion bloggers, we are all part of this amazing community where we can share our own style and check out other bloggers' style through our own personal space in the web. Through blog hops/link ups, we discover more blogs to follow, and more outfits that inspire us to shop our closets and come up with a similar outfits!

That is what is amazing about blogging... in our own ways, we inspire and are inspired by our fellow bloggers' style posts! This is the reason for this weekly blog hop called Style to Inspire, with hopes to be a weekly collection of style posts that reflect the bloggers' personal style, in turn inspiring new outfit ideas and new connections with fellow fashion bloggers!

  3. Well, you look amazing again, but what's new? LOL. You are 5'11"!! Wow!! I bet you have some challenges finding a good fit with pants. But your height is probably what makes everything look so amazing and chic on you. This jumpsuit and jacket are so fabulous.

  5. Uris, you are rocking that jumpsuit! I LOVE it. I have been on the hunt for one, and really should go and check H&M! Fabulous look. That tan heels and bag really add a nice element to the look (and of course the blazer). Such a great Fall transition look (and piece!).
