Here is something we do not see everyday. One that I certainly do not currently have in my closet and has kind of a funny sounding name, to me at least. I know in the past years I have owned a pair of culottes or two and I remembered always gravitating towards them. So when I saw these at Zara, I thought hmmm what a cute print and I secretly have been wanting to rock a pair since summer began (at this point, I refuse to talk about the impending cold weather, so please let us save that on another blog post. Lol!) I like the fact that they pretend to look like a skirt from a far but up close, they are actually aren’t. I have worn this at work and it certainly has been a good conversation piece, eliciting both positive and negative comments (“hey that’s cute”/ “what the heck are you wearing”). Either way, I wanted it so I am wearing it. It is comfortable, different and they remind me of my younger years. Hahaha.

These colors are fabulous and so flattering on you! I love the stories you included about the comments you get on your culottes at work!! ha ha!! I appreciate your honesty! I think they are definitely a fashion forward piece and it takes a certain panache to pull them off, which luckily you have!!

I love the confidence you're wearing those tropical print Zara culottes with, Uris! Having said that, my heart has been totally stolen by the striking orange camisole as I've been searching for the 'perfect camisole' for so long now that summer is nearly over haha! Oops! :)

I love this colour combination. The warm colour on top with the blue beneath. The pattern is unusual, plus I haven't seen culottes in ages. I remember them from the first time round.
ReplyDeleteLove the print, so tropical and summery
